PALOMA, FLOOR TWO-FRATSOR TO THE MAX
I'm having such a blast..classes are amazing and it's autumn! The
seasons actually change here! I miss home a lot a lot though and I
cannot wait for the reunion that will ensue during thanksgiving and
winter breaks. Call me and send me some love! More pictures to come!

I hope that everyone at home is doing wonderfully and that everyone who
is away at school is making a home for themselves wherever they maybe.

It's been a while since I updated, but I really don't have much to say. First water-skiing adventure of the summer was fun--If anyone wants to go out on the boat, let me know-it'd be awesome if we could all go out one day.
Happy belated 4th of July--yay for IN&OUT and really little fireworks and the men-of-fire. Even though we didn't see much, it was still really fun to hang out all together and I wish I'd taken some pictures so I'd have something interesting to post. Let's keep doin' group stuff, yeah?
I got a 5 on the Calculus AP...I think they graded it wrong...REALLY wrong.
Hope everyone had a good day, especially those of you who started work today. Today was my first day at the bean scene, and surprise surprise, I smell like coffee.

This picture makes me laugh--we were stuck on Big Thunder Mountain
Railroad and all the lights came on and we could see the strings
holding up the little bats and everything..so disillusioning! Just look
at Lucas' face....
(Jenn is missing because she was sitting next to me, I believe)
A Cappella Night was a lot of fun and I'm really proud of the
performance we gave. Unst never ceases to amaze me and Awaken just
totally rocked. It's so awesome that we have a program like this.

Everything's been crazy busy lately-but now there's just a million things to look forward to. Beach and Disneyland this week, AP tests (oh joy), Prom, GRADUATION...woah, where'd that come from?!
I sort of miss ITW right now, it was so much fun! And I wanna go back to New Orleans, too. And I miss people!! Sasha, Brian, Cory, Katie, Ali...You guys are almost done with your first year of college! [Well, except for Sasha :)] What the heck?! Oh weird. I can't wait for summer!

Last night was a lot of fun-much needed time with my girls. Analyzing movies the way only we can-"Gentlmen, upstage. Ladies, downstage. Are you a lady Mr. Kent?!" Ah yes...the Admiral's Men have indeed returned to the house. Thanks you two, I needed that.
Traffic sucks..I sat in my car for nearly three hours today. Thank goodness for Littlest Man Band and John Mayer. But tonight was wonderful-I realized how much I love my friends, as I usually realize on a night like this. I got to watch them all happy and looking like a million bucks! It just felt really right..and I like that feeling.
Shameless plug time! INTO THE WOODS is March 15-19 and it's really gonna be an awesome show. If you don't come to see us, at least come to see the set-cuz that alone kicks butt! I'm so excited...I can't wait til we open.
Everyone comes home soon! Sasha, Ali, Katie, Brian, Cory, Danielle, Chris...I miss you guys too much!

So close, and yet four days too far. After Wednesday I can relax a little bit and concentrate on something a little more fun.
Rehearsals are really challenging, but a lot of fun. Standing next to my lovely Little Red Liza on one side and 'Ferrari' on the other. I know that we're all working so hard, and I can only hope we get the same amount of positive energy from the outcome as I know we are all putting into the process.
Lot's of fun this week for Mommy's birthday and then skiing this weekend with the WWAR group. And SOLO NIGHT is coming! Yes! I'm so excited to see everyone's acts this year because I know they'll all be so great.
College...since when does 8-10 weeks become "Sorry, it's going to be 12 weeks" ?? I know everyone's hearing from different places and getting callbacks--congratulations Hannah and Janie :) Char and Hannah and Marley I know you guys all kicked butt at USC. I'm so proud of all my girls-it takes so much to put yourself out there in so many places. I've heard you all do your auditions and these places would be crazy not to have you-take it from someone who can't and is not out there auditioning-I don't have the drive and stamina for it, but I'm proud to be great friends with people who do. Keep those callbacks coming!
Miss all you collegiates...Sasha I hope you are surviving the blizzard! Al, I heard your show was sensational. Give me a call or drop me an email-I'd love to hear from all of you!

I thought this was a good metaphor. Not that its particularly applicable right now, but its interesting. We all build up our defenses sometimes, trying to keep out anything that we don't want. The problem is that we build our walls so high and so strong that we don't remember how to get back out. It's a good thing that we've all got certain people who push through our walls and bring us back out into the open-no longer holed in, but still protected and safe.
